Gloria eventually answers Arnold’s phone calls and the two plan for a romantic trip to Las Vegas , Nevada, where Arnold booked a hotel for them. As they settle in their house, Arnold receives a phone call from his daughters, who tell him that his ex-wife wounded herself walking through a sliding glass door.

Arnold refuses to cancel the outing, and the two of them have sex that night. They enjoy spending time together, eating in nice restaurants and lounging in the hotel’s swimming pool. Arnold continues to ignore his daughters.

Disturbed, Gloria falls into a daze of drinking and holding a party with unknown people, meeting a married man named Jeremy and going on a hallucinatory journey. She wakes up on a pool chair that’s missing a foot, and she’s calling her mother, who comes to take her home.

Arnold calls her several times, and in response she unplugs her phone. Still stuck with Arnold’s paintball guns, she’s trying to get rid of them by throwing them away,But finally she turns her car around and picks them up, drives to Arnold ‘s house and secretly threatens him by shooting his house and him in frustration.

His ex-wife and daughters rush out and yell at her obscenity, but she remains undisturbed and drives away, laughing, while “Total Eclipse of the Heart” plays on her stereo.

At her friend Vicky’s daughter’s wedding, the song “Gloria” starts to play, and a stranger asks Gloria if she wants to dance. She politely refuses, but she’s going to have a change of heart when Vicky gets her out. She gets on the dance floor and begins to lose herself to the music.
