Sharmini Podcast;

Sharmini murder was a new brand of terror for the Tamil Community. And CBC’s true-crime podcast, Uncover, knows why.
In its fifth season, founder and manager Michelle Shephard revisit the 20-year-old research she first met as a Toronto Star columnist, with fresh penetration, exciting new features and individual meetings that are alternately tragic and infuriating.

Anandavel went dropping on June 12, 1999. She was on her way to a new place that we now know nevermore existed. Four months following, her remains, decreased to a skull and bone, were found by hikers near a break.
In the first episode’s introduction, Shephard escorts Toronto police investigator Matt Crone to the shallow pit where the remains were discovered. They represent the area as a “wonderful” and “cool” resting position, trying to find some encouragement in a cold case that provides very little.
